NEW DATA: Mike Rogers’ Iran War Spikes Michigan Gas Prices To Nearly $5 A Gallon

Rogers supported Trump’s Iran war from the start and pledged to give Trump the authority to continue the war indefinitely

LANSING — According to new data released by AAA, Michigan gas prices have spiked nearly 32 cents from a week ago because of Mike Rogers’ war in Iran, forcing Michigan drivers to pay an average of $4.83 per gallon for regular unleaded.

Rogers has backed Trump’s cost-raising war in Iran from the start, calling it “a win-win-win for us,” declaring there “shouldn’t be a date” the war should definitively end, and saying he doesn’t mind “giving the president authority to continue” the war indefinitely. Over the weekend, Rogers reiterated his support, telling Fox News’ Bret Baier that Trump did not make a mistake by starting the war.

As Michigan gas prices skyrocketed, Price Hike Mike has repeatedly dismissed Michiganders’ concerns, saying “We’re gonna be fine, we got plenty of oil” and mocking people who he said were “screaming and thumping their chest” over having to pay more at the gas pump. On Sunday in Port Huron, Rogers embraced Trump on stage just minutes after the president said skyrocketing gas prices were “a small price to pay” for Michigan families.
