In case you missed it earlier this week, Tudor Dixon updated her campaign finance report with an illegal shopping spree using thousands of dollars from her campaign donors.
Back in August, after disappearing from the campaign trail, she spent “over five thousand dollars on luxury clothes” that she later reimbursed herself for with money from her campaign — a move that violates Michigan’s campaign finance laws.
In a new FOX 47 interview former Chair of the Michigan Republican Party Jeff Timmer called the move “illegal” and former Chair of the Michigan Democratic Party Mark Brewer asked “what’s to stop [Dixon] from doing the same thing with taxpayer funds?”
