LANSING — In response to failed MAGA Speaker Matt Hall endorsing two-time statewide loser John James, Michigan Democratic Party spokesperson Derrick Honeyman released the following statement:
“John James and failed Speaker Matt Hall are two peas in a pod: they both want to bring more of Donald Trump’s destructive and harmful policies to Michigan. In Lansing, Hall cut funding for programs for kids with cancer, and in D.C., James voted to slash Medicaid and raise healthcare prices. John James and Matt Hall only care about themselves and pleasing Trump, and Michiganders will reject Republicans’ extreme, price-hiking agenda this year.”
