Saginaw, MI — Saginaw County Democratic Party Chair Judi Lincoln issued the following statement on failed politician John James campaigning with Donald Trump in Freeland, following a report that James lied to voters about creating Michigan jobs and his company took nearly $2 million in tax breaks under his tenure but failed to create the 108 jobs he promised and instead cut jobs:
“Just like Donald Trump, John James has broken his promises and lied about his record — taking nearly $2 million in tax breaks and failing to keep his commitment to create jobs in Michigan. And just like Trump, James can’t be trusted to deliver results for Michigan.”
