The Michigan Democratic Party announced today that Abby Rubley has joined the team as the communications director.
Abby comes to the party after eight years of working in strategic communications at Michigan State University. Prior to that she served as the press secretary for the Michigan House Democrats.
“As a lifelong Michigander with extensive experience in strategic communications, Abby brings a great deal of expertise to the team,” says Christy Jensen, MDP executive director. “She joins an already highly-skilled and deeply committed team that is focused on turning Michigan blue in November.
