DETROIT — Next week, the Michigan Democratic Party is opening a new office on Woodward in Detroit to grow Democratic momentum and continue to show up for communities across the state. This new office will hold volunteer trainings, canvases, and events to help inform voters across Southeast Michigan, get out the vote, and continue to push back against ever-rising extremism.
“We are really excited about this new office and everything it will offer Detroiters and the larger Southeast Michigan region,” said Chair of the Michigan Democratic Party Curtis Hertel. “This office is just the newest way that the Michigan Democratic Party is showing up year round and getting involved in the communities that we are fighting for.
“For this party, there truly is no such thing as an off-year, and we look forward to having a new home base in Detroit as we work to elect Democrats who will fight for a working families agenda up and down the ballot.”
