Mike Rogers again refuses to defend Michigan’s largest city
LANSING — CNN has reported that as Trump attacked Detroit, Mike Rogers “had no complaints.”
Trump has faced widespread condemnation for calling Detroit “a ‘developing area’ and said the whole country would end up ‘like Detroit’ if Harris is elected” – but Rogers refuses to stand up to Trump in support of Michigan’s largest city.
CNN’s reporting follows NBC News’ report that Rogers refuses to “air any criticism” on “Trump’s insulting comments about Detroit the day before [where] Rogers claimed he ‘didn’t hear what he [Trump] said.’”
