LANSING– The Michigan Democratic Party released the following statement on behalf of Chair Lavora Barnes on the Supreme Court’s DACA decision:
“Three years of relentless attacks by the Trump administration couldn’t deny what the Supreme Court just affirmed, once and for all: for the young people protected by DACA, including thousands here in Michigan, this is home. For Donald Trump to try and strip DREAMers of those protections is further proof that he is hopelessly out of touch with the American people, who overwhelmingly support DACA and the protections it affords.”
