The Michigan Democratic Party released the following statement on behalf of spokesman Christian Slater on the recently announced Lansing event with Eric Trump:
“Just days after Donald Trump hosted a reckless and irresponsible rally in Lansing, Eric Trump is coming back to our state in a last ditch effort to salvage his dad’s sinking campaign. But it’s not going to work. Michiganders have seen the chaos and destruction forced on Michigan by Trump’s erratic leadership and more empty words and broken promises from his kid can’t change the damage done. That’s why Michiganders are turning out to vote early by the millions to reject Donald Trump’s chaos and elect Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, Gary Peters, and Democrats up and down the ticket.”
