LANSING – The Michigan Democratic Party stands in support of Governor Whitmer and the extension of the “stay safe, stay home” order.
“I am so grateful for the strong and wise leadership of Governor Whitmer,” says Lavora Barnes, chair of the Michigan Democratic Party. “She is tirelessly fighting for us every day and making tough decisions. As we watch other states follow her lead, we know we can trust her to make the best decisions for all of us. We need to continue to adhere to Whitmer’s direction for the safety and well-being of all Michiganders.”
