Leonard on Medicaid Cuts: “Yes, I support that. 100%.”
LANSING — Lobbyist Tom Leonard has joined Congressman John James and Republican Speaker Matt Hall in cheering on DC Republicans’ push to gut Medicaid in order to give tax breaks to billionaires, telling Fox 2 Detroit that he “100%” supports cuts to Medicaid.
Leonard’s 100% support for cutting healthcare for hundreds of thousands of Michiganders comes after James voted for the cuts in Congress and Hall gleefully announced his support.
With James and Leonard doubling down, do Aric Nesbitt and Mike Cox also support cuts to Medicaid?
“Gutting Medicaid will kick countless Michiganders off their health insurance and jack up prices, all to give tax cuts to billionaires,” said Michigan Democratic Party Spokesperson Derrick Honeyman. “Do Aric Nesbitt and Mike Cox also support cuts to Medicaid? Michiganders deserve to know.”
