LANSING — Today, JD Vance visited Macomb County to lie about the abysmal record of Donald Trump and Michigan Republicans. In response, Michigan Democratic Party Chair Curtis Hertel released the following statement:

“Donald Trump promised lower costs on day one. Instead, Michigan families are paying more for everything. Why? Because instead of keeping their promises, Donald Trump and Michigan Republicans gave tax cuts to billionaires, slashed Americans’ healthcare, started a reckless war, and implemented price-raising tariffs – and Mike Rogers, John James, and Michael Bouchard Jr. have rubber-stamped every bit of it. Michiganders are struggling because of the GOP’s cost-raising agenda of chaos and corruption and voters will reject it in November.”
