GRAND RAPIDS — In case you missed it, yesterday in Grand Rapids, the Michigan Democratic Party held a press conference on the anniversary of Roe v. Wade with Senator Stabenow, Lt. Governor Gilchrist, Representative Scholten, and abortion advocates.
These leaders emphasized the stakes of the 2024 election, and how it is imperative we re-elect President Biden, Vice President Harris, and Democrats down the ballot – and flip the U.S. House – in order to protect reproductive rights and all the important strides made here in Michigan. They also discussed how devastating a Trump presidency would be, and how we must pull out all the stops to avoid Republicans pushing an anti-abortion agenda.
