Governor Whitmer, Lt. Governor Gilchrist, Representative Dingell, and Chair Barnes energize supporters and grow the campaign across Michigan
LANSING — In case you missed it, this past weekend, Michigan Democrats and the Biden Campaign launched two new One Campaign offices in Brighton and Ypsilanti to bring more people into the campaign and re-elect President Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris, and Democrats up and down the ballot.
As Trump visits Grand Rapids to spread lies today, the contrast between the parties could not be more clear, with Democrats opening several field offices a week and Republicans having little to no infrastructure on the ground. Trump is here to lie to Michiganders, while Democrats are actually out connecting with voters and volunteers about how they have delivered.
On Friday, Governor Whitmer, a Biden-Harris 2024 Campaign Co-Chair, rallied supporters at the Brighton office about the stakes of the upcoming election and how they can make a difference. On Saturday, Lt. Governor Gilchrist, Representative Dingell, and Chair of the Michigan Democratic Party Lavora Barnes energized volunteers and uplifted how dangerous another Trump presidency would be for the issues Michiganders care about most.
These offices were the eighth and ninth in a series of One Campaign office openings that will total 30 by April 15 as Michigan Democrats and the Biden for President campaign are showing up across the state to connect with the community and earn their votes.
