LANSING — The Messenger reported that Mike Rogers, Peter Meijer, and Sandy Pensler have vowed to repeal the Affordable Care Act which would revoke health care access and increase costs for Michigan families.
The story notes that Rogers voted against the law, calling it “disastrous” and called for it to be undone. Meijer signed a pledge to repeal the law. Pensler said “we have to completely repeal Obamacare.”
If the Affordable Care Act was repealed, 1.7 million Michiganders with pre-existing conditions could be denied health care and 1.3 million Michiganders would be at risk of losing their coverage.
