Out-of-touch millionaire Kevin Rinke has made it clear to Michiganders on several occasions that he will embrace any and every conspiracy theory he needs to in order to justify his wrong-for-Michigan agenda – especially when the reproductive freedoms of millions of women and families are on the line.
Rinke has begun touting a thoroughly debunked conspiracy theory that claims post-birth abortions are permitted and being performed in other states.
Rinke knows there’s no credibility to the outlandish claim, there are no bills or laws that make it legal to kill any person at any age in any state. He’s only been regurgitating this viral online hoax in order to force his extreme anti-choice agenda on Michiganders.
Over the cycle, the used Toyota salesman has repeatedly stressed his unwavering support for the return of a currently dormant law on Michigan’s books from 1931 that criminalizes abortion and makes no exceptions for rape or incest. He previously pledged to “enforce that law of the land” as governor, and doubled down in the debate calling the law “appropriate.”
