LANSING– Donald Trump is releasing his 2021 budget and we know he’s committed to continuing his war on Medicare and Medicaid.
Trump has repeatedly promised to protect these earned benefits, including in his State of the Union where he vowed to “always protect your Medicare” while also telling CNBC that he’s open to pursuing cuts to these essential programs.
“Donald Trump broke his promise to Michigan voters, working tirelessly to slash Medicare and Medicaid despite his repeated promises to protect these critical programs,” said MDP spokesman Christian Slater. “Working families need more than lip service and empty promises from a president who refuses to truly fight for them.”
