The Michigan Democratic Party is counting down to the second gubernatorial debate by reminding Michiganders that Tudor Dixon is a dangerous conspiracy theorist who has pushed out of touch plans that would hurt working families. With six days to go, we’re highlighting the top five most outlandish Dixon moments from GOP debates, and the countdown begins with her baseless election conspiracies.
The special interest candidate and election conspiracy theorist – who is actively fundraising off of lies about 2020’s outcome – has yet to cross a claim too outlandish for her to parrot.
In the days after the 2020 election, Dixon “claimed the election was stolen and accused Democrats of ‘obvious’ and ‘sloppy’ voter fraud.” She even got into a heated back and forth with several reporters who she said were “misleading their viewers” as they explained a factual, report into the 2020 election that showed there was no voter fraud in Michigan.
But during a GOP primary debate, Dixon took her debunked theories a step further.
After spouting the same baseless lies about voter fraud, she delved into an absurd conspiracy that “$12 million from [Mark] Zuckerberg” helped Democrats steal the election. She then led the audience down a completely unhinged rabbit hole claiming Democratic consultants engaged in “ballot harvesting” with help from Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson.
The Republican-led Senate Oversight Committee’s 55-page report definitively stated that there was “no evidence of widespread or systematic fraud,” yet, Dixon has kept the conspiracy center-stage throughout her entire campaign, already refusing to accept the results of 2022.

TUDOR DIXON: And we got $12 million from Zuckerberg. But guess what? We are the only state in the nation that didn’t have any government oversight in that money. So where did it go? Well, let’s see. That went into a nonprofit and then was filtered out to Democrat consultants that went out to get out the vote for, guess who? Democrats. So was their ballot harvesting that’s pretty hard to find? They have a great system and it helps when your Secretary of State is willing to do illegal things to help them.
