This week, the Michigan Democratic Party has spotlighted just how horrible and devastating Tudor Dixon’s education plan would be for Michigan’s teachers, parents, and students.
Bought and paid for by the DeVos family, Dixon’s education plan is dangerous, reckless, and disenfranchises Michigan’s students.
As a reminder, Tudor Dixon:
- Supports a plan that would cut $3.5 billion in resources to the School Aid Fund
- Wants to implement an extreme voucher plan that would divert $500 million of taxpayer money from public schools to privately-owned institutions
- Is in lockstep with Betsy DeVos on privatizing education, abolishing the Department of Education, and pushing her anti-public schools agenda
At every opportunity, Dixon has pushed to dismantle and destroy the public education system. For these efforts and her complete disregard for Michigan’s teachers, parents, and students, Dixon’s education plan receives an F.
