Donors will be invited to the livestream event at 8pm ET on Friday, October 30.
Participating original cast members include Chris Sarandon, William Ragsdale, Amanda Bearse, Stephen Geoffreys, Jonathan Stark, Dorothy Fielding, Art Evans, and Chris Hendrie. There will be a live Q&A immediately following the table read.
The president won Michigan by 10,704 votes. That comes out to just about two votes per precinct. This was the smallest margin of victory in any state. The Michigan Democratic Party has been across all 83 counties of the state, talking to voters everyday about the importance of voting for democrats this election, ensuring that the current president will not declare victory in Michigan ever again.
“We know the road to the White House goes directly through Michigan,” said Lavora Barnes, Chair of the Michigan Democratic Party. “We have to deliver the state for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, but that isn’t enough. There is more at stake than just the White House. We must return Gary Peters to the US Senate, maintain and grow our majority in the US House, flip the State House, and bring a progressive majority to the State Supreme Court by re-electing Bridget Mary McCormack and electing Elizabeth Welch.”
Everything from health care to education are on the ballot this year. We need democratic champions in Lansing and Washington DC fighting for Michiganders every day. And that is why, with just days to go, we need all the support we can get.
“We are thrilled that the cast of Fright Night is willing to host this unique event and help the Michigan Democratic Party. This is going to be a very cool Halloween experience,” said Barnes.
