The Michigan Democratic Party released the following statement on behalf of State Senators Curtis Hertel and Jeff Irwin on Eric Trump’s MAGA events in Lansing and Willis:
“Ingham and Washtenaw county are fired up and ready to reject Donald Trump’s failed leadership and last minute campaign stops by his son won’t change that fact. Our constituents have seen the damage done by Trump’s failed COVID-19 response, his disastrous jobs record, and his attacks on the ACA and they’re voting early in massive numbers to reject his agenda. Voters know we need leaders like Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, and Gary Peters who will fight to build our state back better and get our country back on track.”
