9&10 News: “It was revealed that Rogers doesn’t live in the house that he claims to… Michigan Democrats are speaking out, drilling down on reports from downstate media claiming that the U.S. Senate nominee Mike Rogers lives at a different address than the one he’s registered to vote from.”

LANSING — News outlets are reporting that “Michigan Democrats are speaking out, drilling down on reports from downstate media claiming that the U.S. Senate nominee Mike Rogers lives at a different address than the one he’s registered to vote from.”

Leaders are “pointing to this mismatch as a reason Rogers can’t be trusted.”

  • Rep. Julie Brixie: “Rogers is wrong for Michigan. By this time next month, he can stop crashing with family and go back to working on his tan in his giant Florida mansion.”
  • Ingham County Clerk Barb Byrum: “This situation leaves election administrators and certainly voters with a lot of questions that need answered. And Mike Rogers should probably answer those, so that the public can make an informed decision about whether he would adequately represent Michigan if he proves victorious in the November general election.”

The house that Rogers claimed to live in “had no certificate of occupancy,” and it appears “to be still in a construction phase, with an unfinished deck and a Port-A-Jon next to the driveway.” Following a year and a half of lies, Rogers’ campaign is still refusing to publicly answer the very basic question of where he has been living during the campaign, and where he is living now

Take a look at what Michiganders are watching on “Rogers [who] doesn’t live in the house that he claims to:”
