LANSING — Mike Rogers – who is backed by Betsy DeVos – last night said that he’s “not sure” how Betsy DeVos “has anything to do with us trying to improve education for our kids.”
DeVos has led a push to “destroy public schools” in Michigan, and Rogers has voted repeatedly for a DeVos-backed plan to siphon money away from public schools. In August, Rogers campaigned with DeVos as she renewed her commitment to gut public schools.
Betsy DeVos has “maxed out political contributions” to Rogers after he supported tax giveaways that benefit billionaire DeVos and her rich friends while hardworking Michigan families pay the price.
