We are seeking a creative, experienced digital organizer to join the Michigan Coordinated Campaign. As Deputy Digital Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our digital strategy to reach and activate voters throughout Michigan. Working closely with the Digital Organizer Director, you will lead a dynamic team to leverage digital platforms and technologies to advance our campaign objectives and drive voter engagement.
Responsibilities:
- Digital Strategy Development: Collaborate with the Digital Director to develop and implement comprehensive digital strategies aligned with campaign goals and objectives.
- Content Creation and Management: Oversee the creation, curation, and management of digital content across various platforms, including social media, email, website, and digital advertising.
- Social Media Management: Manage and grow our social media presence on platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and TikTok, ensuring consistent messaging and engagement with our target audience.
- Email Campaigns: Lead the planning, execution, and optimization of email campaigns to communicate with supporters, mobilize volunteers, and drive fundraising efforts.
- Digital Advertising: Develop and execute targeted digital advertising campaigns to reach key voter demographics, maximize reach, and optimize return on investment.
- Data Analytics and Reporting: Utilize data analytics tools to track, analyze, and report on the performance of digital initiatives, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.
- Team Leadership and Management: Supervise and mentor a team of digital organizers, content creators, and digital strategists, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
- Partnership and Collaboration: Collaborate with other campaign teams, including field organizers, communications staff, and volunteer coordinators, to integrate digital strategies into broader campaign efforts.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in digital strategy, digital marketing, or related roles, preferably in political campaigns or advocacy organizations.
- Strong understanding of digital platforms, tools, and trends, including social media, email marketing, digital advertising, and website management.
- Proficiency in data analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, and email marketing platforms.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to craft compelling messages for diverse audiences.
- Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and empower staff to achieve campaign goals.
- Passion for progressive politics and a commitment to advancing social and economic justice.
Compensation
This position offers a salary range of $6000 to $7000 per month and includes a full benefits package with health, vision, and dental insurance.
