Chair Barnes applauds Biden’s continued dedication to Michiganders
LANSING — Today, a week after his State of the Union speech that made his commitment to continuing to deliver for Michiganders crystal clear, President Biden is making a campaign stop in Saginaw to promote the Biden-Harris vision here in Michigan. Ahead of Biden’s visit, Chair of the Michigan Democratic Party Lavora Barnes released the following statement:
“For his entire presidency, President Biden has shown up for Michiganders time and time again, delivering a landmark economic agenda and protecting our fundamental freedoms. We are so happy to have President Biden back in the state to remind voters of all of the Biden-Harris administration’s accomplishments.
“Let’s be clear, the president’s visit to Saginaw is a stark reminder to Michiganders of the stakes in November – do we want a president who has already invested billions in Michigan to rebuild our infrastructure and bring back jobs to our state or do we want a president who never fulfills his promises and only looks out for himself? The threat of another Trump presidency cannot be overstated, and President Biden’s visit proves once again the importance of Michigan in deciding the direction of our future this November.”
