LANSING — As Republicans attempt to allocate delegates for the Republican National Convention, Chair of the Michigan Democratic Party Lavora Barnes released the following statement:
“What we will see today through the MIGOP’s caucuses is that no matter who their chair is – this is the party of Trump.
“I have no doubt that chaos will remain the driving force of the Michigan Republican Party and they will do everything in their power to rip away our freedoms at every opportunity. Michigan voters have made it clear time and time again that they reject Republicans’ MAGA extremism as the party continues to stray from the values that Michiganders hold dear. Don’t be fooled, the MIGOP will continue to go down the rabbit hole and fail to deliver on helping Michigan families with their most important needs.”
