The two-week ad campaign will target swing-voters in Hall’s district drawing attention to the disturbing revelations
LANSING — Today, the Michigan Democratic Party launched a two-week digital ad campaign targeting GOP Leader State Rep. MAGA Matt Hall following the shocking revelations of his abusive past. Voters need to know about MAGA Matt Hall’s history as the legislature considers additional common-sense gun safety reforms.
The digital ads (video & static) have begun running on Facebook and target thousands of swing-voters across Hall’s district highlighting the threatening messages he sent to another college student which included rhetoric insinuating gun violence, saying, “I’ve got a shotgun rifle and I just put a bullet in it with your name on it!”
As the State Legislature weighs bills to extend gun safety protections to ensure that abusers convicted of domestic violence cannot obtain firearms, it must be asked, how can Matt Hall impartially judge, critique, and vote on this set of bills given his past with emotional relationship violence?
Additionally, Hall has been one of the most vocal opponents of the common-sense gun safety reforms that have been signed into law and receive overwhelming support from Michiganders across the state.
These ads call into question MAGA Matt Hall’s ability to serve, because Michiganders deserve leaders that have proven they will fight for our communities’ best interests and safety.
