Cox Should Focus on Just Two Steps, Not 92

GOP Gubernatorial Candidate Needs to be Honest with Voters

LANSING –Republican gubernatorial candidate Mike Cox announced Tuesday a 92-step plan to get Michigan back on its feet. But Michigan Democratic Party Chair Mark Brewer is first calling for honesty and transparency from Cox.

 

“This 92-step plan ignores what the voters really need from Mike Cox,” Brewer said. “Cox should be focusing on a two-step plan. First, he needs to explain how, as Governor, he would be different from South Carolina Governor Mark Sanford. Second, Cox needs to practice what he preaches and fully disclose his role in the Manoogian Mansion party cover up.”

 

“We need a Governor with honesty and integrity,” observed Brewer. “Cox needs to explain how he meets those standards.”
