Greetings from the Chair

Welcome to the new Michigan Democratic Party Website – a valuable and multi-faceted tool in our efforts to protect families, educate children and remain accountable to one another and the public we serve.

Building on our historic successes in 2008, we are already preparing for the 2010 elections. We are working to elect a new Democratic Governor, retake the Secretary of State and Attorney General offices, reelect our Congressional Delegation, hold the State House, capture the State Senate and defeat Supreme Court Justice Robert Young. We are building on all fronts - membership, outreach, communications and fundraising - to meet these challenges.

In addition to this site, there are several ways in which you can communicate with the State Party. You can call the State Party headquarters 24 hours a day and leave a message for any staff person and you can receive our free Michigan Briefing by simply supplying us with your E-mail address. MDP Members also receive our periodic newsletter.
